Vietnam Training Mission 2024
Inaugural mission training 150+ healthcare professionals across two major cities in Vietnam.
Mission Overview
Our 2024 Vietnam mission marked the beginning of Skinemove ASBL’s field operations. Over three months, our team of Belgian specialists delivered intensive training programs in kinesitherapy and dermatology across Vietnam’s two largest cities.
Key Achievements
Kinesitherapy Program
- Trained 98 physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists
- Conducted 16 practical workshops
- Established ongoing mentorship with 8 local trainers
Dermatology Program
- Trained 58 healthcare providers
- Introduced dermoscopy to 3 hospital departments
- Developed adapted treatment protocols for local conditions
Lasting Impact
This mission established the foundation for our hybrid model:
- 12 local trainers now conduct follow-up sessions
- Monthly telemedicine consultations continue
- Local peer learning networks established in both cities
Looking Forward
Based on the success of this mission, we are planning expanded programs in Vietnam for 2025, including:
- Advanced specialization tracks
- Train-the-trainer certification program
- Community health worker outreach
